Randy Oostra, DM, FACHE

Randy Oostra, DM, FACHE, is the Founder of this initiative to establish a National Commission, and is the  President and Chief Executive Officer of ProMedica, a not-for-profit mission-based, integrated health and well-being organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. The $7 billion organization serves communities in 28 states. Randy is regarded as one of the nation’s top leaders in health care, and believes community and service go hand-in-hand.  Under his leadership, ProMedica has received numerous national recognitions and accolades. The organization is widely known as a national leader in addressing the social determinants of health and healthy aging, and is consistently recognized by national associations and accrediting agencies for superior clinical quality, safety and patient experience.

Akram Boutros, MD, FACHE

Akram Boutros, MD, FACHE, is the President and CEO of MetroHealth, the public health system in Cleveland. He has galvanized political leaders, entrepreneurs and the community around an inspiring and comprehensive model of health care that goes beyond traditional medicine to include distributing healthy food and providing educational opportunities, job training, legal services and more throughout the community it serves.

Tina Freese Decker, MHA, MSIE, FACHE,

Freese Decker, MHA, MSIE, FACHE, is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum Health System. Tina is a focused, driven and innovative leader who embodies the values she has embedded into the culture of her organization—courage, collaboration, curiosity and compassion. Her strategic and visionary leadership has helped evolve Spectrum Health into an expansive, $7 billion integrated health system, with a medical group, health plan and 14 hospitals employing 31,000 individuals in Southwest and West Michigan.

Judy Rich, RN, MSN

Judy Rich, RN, MSN is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Tucson Medical Center. Rich has held roles from staff nurse to CEO. She started her professional experience at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Rich currently serves on the boards of the Vizient West Coast, Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Tucson Airport Authority and the Southern Arizona Hospital Alliance. She served on the American Hospital Association board 2016 – 2019 and is past chair of the Arizona Hospital & Healthcare Association.

H. Alan Watson, FACHE

H. Alan Watson, FACHE, serves as Chief Executive Officer of Maury Regional Health. He has more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry. Maury Regional Health is a rural health care system serving over 200,000 residents in Southern Middle Tennessee.  Under his leadership Maury Regional Health has been recognized as an IBM/Watson Top 15 health system six times.

Michael O. Ugwueke,   DHA, MPH, FACHE

Michael O. Ugwueke,   DHA, MPH, FACHE, is a visionary healthcare executive who leverages business acumen, financial discipline and strategic innovation to advance performance of diverse healthcare organizations. Over the past 20 years, he has designed and launched game-changing initiatives that deliver on revenue, growth, expansion and quality targets.  Michael was named to Modern Healthcare’s 2020 honor roll of “Top 25 Minority Executives in the Nation,” and he recently was honored with the Baldrige Foundation’s 2021 “Harry S. Hertz Leadership Award.”

Robin D. Wittenstein, Chief Executive Officer of Denver Health, is an executive with more than 35 years of experience in the health care industry, serving communities through leadership roles in a number of hospitals, including an academic medical center, complex teaching hospitals and safety net hospitals.
